Went down town this morning for the weekend shopping.
They have started to put up the street Christmas decorations !
I still have roses in my garden.

Pretty roses, Sam.
Let's get this thread back on the track. (g)
Here's a puppet theater and 8 puppets which I got my grands for Christmas:
Seems good for creativity.
Our 9 year granddaughter wrote a sweet puppet play last Easter,
using only some finger puppets I had in the toy room.
So these hand puppets might encourage her to do more writing.
Both granddaughters performed the Easter play for the family,
around the dining room table.
At least it's a change from all these electronic games which
are no fun to give because I'm not familiar with them.
Most are car racing games for the grandsons. (g)

We must be backward round here then. It was only last week the supermarkets

We had a week in Weymouth 5 weeks ago, Brewers Quay was *all* Chris*mas.

lol I do love the Brewers Quay though and their Chri**mas shops. My SIL
lives in Weymouth and we go there a lot. I also like The Boot Pub :-)

NE side of the harbour, on that side I remember the Ship, Rendezvous and

Don't think so. There was an upstairs restaurant which I think was
called "The Captains Table"

Well that one is The Ship Bri
Was the beer Badger Brewery ?

You must have nailed it Jenny, my wife agrees. I thought the Ship was
nearer the bridge, ISTR varnished floorboards with no-one there and
always walking past, but that place must have had another name. My
memory worsens, we were in there every night and I still can't remember
the name of the beer I was drinking ;-) it *must* have been OK ;-)

Couldb. They were out in force round here last night. I think it must have

Yes, go on, you go back to bed and ruin your ability to sleep again
tonight:))

I know "The Old Ship Inn" on the Dorchester Road, but I'm afraid I don't
know "The Ship" - they've been and gone and changed the place since I was
last there, I expect
|
|
|
Nah! Don't think I'll bother for that very reason :-)
Pam the goose...
|
Yes, that's why I can never do it, it just makes me sleep in the day and
stay awake all night. I couldn't do shift w*rk:(
|
Just been told I'm cooking tonight's meal, so I've put a bed of vegetables
and some stock in the slow cooker and chucked in a lump of meat so it's pot
roast for tea :-))
SWMNBI can do the roasties cos she makes good roasties :-))

Oh, you're a lovely fellow.
My other half didn't look in the kitchen except for collecting a cup of
coffee until I had my bleeding brain. Now the kitchen is his and the only
thing I do out there is lunch (a butty of some sort) and I wash all the
dishes. I like it this way:))
