AVG 7.5 - problem

Have had a message that AVG Free is being discontinued and to update to 7.5.
Have looked here, there and all over and cannot find how to update it - just
what am I missing :-((

I had the same message this morning, so printed it out and then updated. For
a total numpty, I did it first time - wonders will never cease

edition. It wasn't until got some help then printed it out that I
managed to get it

No need to pay for AVG. Grisosft say that support for v7.1 will cease

Thanks Shaz and John - I have had AVG now for years - have had no probs.
with upgrades until now - after both of you helping I cannot figure
out what to click.

Try the 'Download free version' link at

Click on, AVG Anti-Virus Free (the link at the top of the page in the
middle),
Scroll down that page and click the Orange button, " Download free
version" and then save it to a folder on your hard drive (where you can
find it again) then go to that folder and double click the file you
have just downloaded, then just follow the install wizard but during
the installation select the "repair" option and it will overwrite your
existing 7.1 version.
