Now my questions, a friend of mine has got himself and NTL connection
(well someone has to) and I going round to his to set up email and new

And why not? I've been with NTL both for dial-up and now 1Mb
Broadband. Apart from the occasional glitch with email servers I've
had no problems.

Thanks John only joking re the above. My local PC World has the router
in stock and I use the ADSL equivalent so setup should be identical to
mine. So I'm of to spend someone else's money for a change.
