It was posted in here , I think, a few weeks ago. I have been watching
them , fascinating and wonderful to be able to see them at such close
range.:-)
Originally they had two eggs, but they have discarded one - them wot
knows about this stuff seem to think that was probably because it wasn't
fertile. I am crossing my fingers that the remaining egg will hatch.
Someone took a clip from the live stream and posted it on his webspace.
LOL Move over Darlin!

That's brilliant. It's the first time I've actually seen any movement when
I've looked at a bird cam, any bird cam.

Its wonderful isn't it? Bit like the bird world equivalent of hovvering
round someone's feet to get them to budge! I have been watching the cam
off and on for weeks, sometimes its difficult to get it cos its SO
popular, millions of hits a day. They seem to show it live Canadian time
and then stream a recording of it when it goes dark there. The eagles do
a few 'change-overs' every day, not always as entertaining as that one

I enjoyed watching that one, nice to see them moving about!

Change of shift. I've been watching my geese do that. Bit more crowded
with 9 eggs though. :)

A Canadian friend posted the link up in her forum. Apparently the
eagles are both past the normal breeding age so there's a possibility
that the remaining egg is clear. From what someone else on the forum
said, the birds will incubate the egg for around 21 days and if it
doesn't hatch, they'll abandon the nest.

Sadly, the nest is now empty. At the moment they're showing the re-run and
not sure when they will 'switch off' the nest cam, apparently there is the
possibility of another being set up where there are already hatchlings.

Shame about the eggs, but nature knows what she is doing, I suppose. I
have been fascinated with the eagle cam, how lucky we are to have this
sort of thing beamed into our homes.
There was a page put up to explain what had happened
and as Linda says, they are setting up a new stream on a nest where the
eggs are hatching. :-)

Our geese have been incubating for 28 days now without success from 12 eggs.
I'll do a further check later this afternoon, but it's not looking good..
