Tyke...
It's official.......

We are keeping Billy for life.

BunnyHare...
That is brilliant news and makes all the hard w**k worthwhile.
Seems like a good idea to check out people who are wanting to keep a number
of dogs (or any animals). Did you ever doubt that you would pass with
flying colours!

Rabbit...
Well that I never doubted :-)

Foxy at w*rk...

Excellent news Russ

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well he's fallen on his feet then. If there's one certain thing, he'll
have a good life with you and yours Russell.

After a few tough months with a "rescued" Bedlington he is coming around
now.
We always knew there was a good dog in him and he has not proved us wrong.
Having two other Bedlingtons has helped and we now notice he is picking up
habits that the other two have LOL.
Billy will always be a little nervous and wary of strangers I fear but he is
a different dog to when we "rescued" him.

Splodge...
That's wonderful news Russell. A newly fledged permanent addition to the
family - wotta lucky dog Billy is
Splodge

Troy's Human...
Everso pleased to read this Billy post Tyke :-) I think we've both had a
similar doggy problem recently. Very pleased to say that Ben is with us for
life too :-) Still a few problems but he's almost there :-)

Woofs to Billy from Ben :-)

Keeping Billy nearly did not happen a couple of weeks ago :-(

I went down to the council offices to pay their licences and to add Billy.
The official told me that the council only allows 2 dogs on residential
property!!!!!!!
I was then told that the local Ranger would have to come out to inspect the
dogs and our property and a decision would be made there.
I did ring the Ranger and he assured us there should be no problems if the
dogs were in good health and a safe environment.

He came out a few days later and mentioned "Bedlington Heaven" LOL
We passed with flying colours and he also said if we wanted another dog to
just give him a ring and he would OK it.

Rabbit...
I wouldn't have doubted that either if I had known about it :-)

He did point out that the bylaws are in place to stop animal overcrowding -
such as 75 cats in a local bungalow he recently had to remove!!!!!!

Rabbit...
IMHO that's a good law.

So common sense prevails :-)

noreen...
I knew you would not let him go;-)))) thinking you
may lose him would make it certain, so glad it all
turned out fine Russell.
We have had a few very bad cases of animal neglect, some so terrible you
can't believe
that a human could inflict it on a poor animal but I am afraid they do, so
we
can understand the concern for yours until they had seen them.;-)))))

Rabbit...
And it's a long time since I have seen law and common sense together.

jackie...
That is good news Russell, I am sure your dogs are well loved and cared for.
I am sure you would all miss Billy if you had have to give him up now.
I hope everything is progressing well at Tyke Towers.

Anita...
That is good to read Ruseell - what a relief it must be for all of you
:)
