Those customer loyalty cards tell supermarkets/stores a great deal. They are
cheap for them to hand out but the data they get is worth a fortune.

It's already happening to some extent, we used something like that in
our CSC, but it only showed our own data.
The danger is when these systems are linked, as the clip shows :-( The
DP Act was supposed to protect us but with this government...

are already under surveillance whilst out of doors, travelling in our
car, visiting shopping malls etc. Soon all our details will be on a
central database (including our dna and /or finger prints and / or iris
scan) with the advent of compulsory ID cards.

Some of it is already here. Last year I phoned for an insurance quote and
two companies had my name and address on their screen, obtained I was told
by my telephone number registering the details on their pooters when it
accepted the call.
