Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
- - for about 25 years.
Excuse the quality, but taken with cheap ageing mobile 'phone camera, in
shaky old hand..

From number plate it appears this one was registered in 1980/81

BoyPete...
I've seen one whizzing around near here on odd occasions. I'll keep an eye
out for reg. :)

Splodge...
It's in great condition. Looks lovely
Splodge

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well they were glass fibre bodies I think, so not susceptible to rust.
Didn't Princess Anne, as she was then, have one?

Jackie...
Very rare I would think FN. We have a Pink Citreon around this way that is
the old K reg, the K being after the number
I think he works round about and parks it on the seafront.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
That'd be 1972/3 wouldn't it? But pink - yuk !!!!

Jackie...
I'll try and get a piccy one day!

Aries...
It's not a bad picture at all for a phone camera, mine never takes pics
that clear or large even tho I have it set at 640x480 which is the largest

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Mine is set to 1280x960 which is the so called enhanced. I think it's
probably a 640x 240 sensor with digital enhancig done on that. Anyhow,
I've been out walking this afternoon and took a photo with the phon trying
really hard not to shake it during the exosure - here's the result:

I reduced it from 1280x960 to 1024x768 with Irfanview to avoid the need for

pmj...
I still had to Scroll that Pic in my Web Browser Window! - That's cos
I had the actual Web Browser Window Size Set to 1024 x 768 Pixels
& the Window "Furniture" - the Menu, AddressBar, ToolBar & ScrollBars
etc, in the Window occupy some of those Pixels, so the *actual*
available Size in a 1024 x 768 Window is less than that...

But then, when I increased the Size of the Web Browser Window, above
1024 x 768, (which I can easily do, cos the Screen/Monitor Display
is Set at 1600 x 1200) I didn't need to Scroll it.
:-)

scrolling. Not much good methinks. :( Must get round to upgrading that

Pam the goose...
Where is that, FN?
I'm sure I know it!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
It's the Damflask reservoir about 3 miles west of me.

The picture was taken from the extreme bottom right facing almost NW

Pam the goose...
Ah, just north of the A57, no wonder I seem to know it:)
Used to use the A57 a lot and all those little roads off it to get to pubs
and halls round there.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
You turn off the A57 and go towards the Strines Inn to get there.

Pam the goose...
Oh, I remember the Strines Inn. Maybe that's why I recognised Damflask:)

'phone. :)

pmj...
That Pic looks OK - for a Pic taken with a Phone!
:-)

Aries...
it's very good - how old is that phone ?

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I upgraded it for free through Orange about 2 years ago. It's a
SonyEricsson K300i
I'm waiting for Orange to start offering another equivalent free upgrade -
but that seems like a thing of the past. :(

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Just ordered my new upgrade - for free. It should arrive within 5 w*rking
days.
It's a Sonyericsson K510i

Should do me for a few more years. :)

Aries...
how much is the montly tariff on that particular phone ?

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
£14-89 for talk 60 plus £3-40 for access to Orange World 4 (Total £18-29)
That includes 60 minutes per month calls to national and other orange
phones. On my tariff texting isn't included (10p per text inc VAT), but I
don't text much and can use Tiscali free SMS if necessary. :)

BoyPete...
Thats good. Toured the local phone shops a few weeks ago, and couldn't get a
tarrif under £20 (I'm PAYG atm)

Aries...
I see, ta - but I'd like to have some many free texts option myself with my
next phone as my 17 year old granddaughter uses text to keep in touch with
me now she is away at college.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well I believe Orange do lots of different tariffs with loads of free texts
if that's what you want. Take a look here and have a fiddle with the
figures.

I'm sure other priders do similar tariffs maybe even cheaper.

BoyPete...
How do you transfer the pic from phone to PC?

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I email it to that guy FN at Tiscali.

Aries...
Send it by email from the mobile - I can do that with mine :)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Ooops! I've just said that. LOL

pmj...
Isn't that an expensive way of doing it?

Aries...
mere pennies :)

Can't you Connect the Phone to the PC using a Data Cable (with
a USB Plug on it) or by Bluetooth or Infra Red?

Aries...
Not sure I have the right kind of date cable ????? I guess I must be able
to do that, never actually crossed my feeble mind LOL

That way it costs nothing (other than the cost of the Data Cable),
& if you use Bluetooth or Infra Red then you don't need a Data Cable).

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
You can't with my 'phone. They do sell a USB cable for it, but the
software doesn't allow uploading the photos, only data from/to organiser,
phne book and address book. They want you to email, they're out to make
money. :(

BoyPete...
I can't get email to work......don't know why. Have used bluetooth, but it's
a bit hit and miss. PC can't see phone or vice versa. Prob a poor quality

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Have you signed up with your phone provider to use the internet and email ?
It may be an additional monthly charge.

BoyPete...
No. Not worth paying for if they want dosh. I'm fed up with the phone
anyway.......keeps locking up. Have to remove battery and put back to get it
to work again...................it's a K700i too.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Do you want my old K300i then when my upgrade has arrived and been set up?

BoyPete...
No ta. But thanks for the offer :)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
No worries. Perhaps the local mobile 'phone shop will give me £20 for it
like they did when I upgraded my Samsung about 4 years ago. :)

dongle.

Aries...
Struth! Now you've given me something to think about and I've enough on my
plate to think about already LOL

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Just ordered my free upgrade - a Sonyericsson K510i.

If you click the 'Try this 'phone' link, and look at the different
scenarios, you'll see this one (unlike the 300i) can upload pictures to the
computer using a USB lead.

Aries...
looks very nice, lucky you :)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Hardly luck Anita - I pay for it by being on a monthly tariff and using it
don't I? :)
Then again perhaps you're right. I pay for Lottery tickets weekly and never
seem to get a return on those. :(

Aries...
is yours a monthly tariff? Mine is PAYG and about eighteen months old now
- I think LOL

setting.

Foxy at w*rk...
Nice :-)
