Wally...
or anyone else that knows.

Haven't been keeping up for a long time now but
recently heard a couple of episodes of "The Archers"
and noticed an absence of Jack Wooly. (probly spelt wrong)
Is he not with us any more ??
Please bring me up to date.

Troy's Human...
Jack has got Alzheimer's - Peggy is looking after him and making a very

pmj...

good job of it.

David is about to do to Sophie what he should have done many years ago.
Ruth is not happy and I don't blame her !

Sam fancies Ruth and I think he'll do to Ruth what David is about to do to
Sophie !

I *love* the Archers - couldn't exist without them :-)

Wally...
Thanks M8 I'm back in the picture now :o)
When I was w**king I spent a lot of time in my lorry so was able
to keep up.
Not so easy now.

pmj...
You can always get all the last week's Episodes (including the
"Omnibus" Edition") from the BBC Radio4 "Listen Again" Site (they
keep them available for 7 days...

Latest episode...

Omnibus edition...

& there's a "Precis" (Synopsis?) available on the Archers Site,
on the BBC WebSite...

I happen to have every single Episode (& all the Omnibus Editions)
of "The Archers" since 2001, Downloaded & Saved as .RA (RealPlayer
Audio) Files, so if there are any that you've missed & want to hear,
Post back.

& before TH says anything about me listening to "The Archers" - cos
I *don't* listen to them...

Troy's Human...
I'm saying nothing ;-)

pmj...
Oh!
:-)

So that means I didn't really have to put in that explanation bit
about how I *don't* actually listen to the Archers at all?
:-)

Troy's Human...
Ummm .... not quite ... :-)

Come on pmj - get out of the closet :-)

See you in uk.media.radio.archers ?

OK ?

(I *know* you attended one of their meets - so there - don't try to deny
it) :-))))))))))))))))))

Aries...
Did he really? or are you pulling our legs ? ;)

Troy's Human...
I assure you I'm *not* joking !!!

He *really* did !!!!

pmj - the closet Archers listener :-))))))))))))))

Aries...
WOW lol ;)

I just Download & Save all the Episodes, for my Sister who lives
in Argentina, so I can Burn them to a CD & send them to her, cos
*she* does listen to the Archers. *I* don't.

I have them Saved like that, cos my Sister lives abroad (in Argentina)
& she only has an (unreliable) Dial Up Internet Connection, so it costs
her too much to Listen to the Archers OnLine - she *does* (unlike me!)
like to listen to the Archers.

I Download & Save all the Episodes (& the Omnibus Edition) for her
each Week, then Burn them to a CD once every 3 Months & send her the
CD of the .RA Files, so she can listen to them & catch up with what's
happening as & when she wants, using her Apple iBook Laptop, which
Plays the .RA Files fine.

Splodge...
He was in a couple of the progs about 1 - 2 weeks ago, and seemed even more
Woolley (!) than ever.

Wally...
Thanks Splodge, I know he was loosing his marbles the last time I heard
him.
I must try and catch up although listening to it this morning Ruth and
David where starting to get on my nerves, (maybe I'll leave it for a while)

Splodge...
This evening's episode made me think it was the radio version of a Brian Rix
farce, Wally, so you're not missing anything.
