I won an easter egg in a school raffle when I was 8.

I won a case os Algerian red wine during my 1st term at Uni. :)
It was 'orrible. :(

I think that raffle was my first experience of feeling embarassed. It
was a class raffle and I was chosen (can't remember why now) to draw
the winning ticket. I still remember standing there looking at all
those 7/8 year old faces with 'fix' written all over them!

I've just been informed that I have won a Dell Outlet Latitude D620 Notebook
PC. in a competition on the Computer Active Website.

Can I ask, did you select the option to receive marketing mail etc from
vnu and other selected companies or the option *not* to?

I take out an annual subscription to Computor Active and they already had
my email address and send a ?monthly newsletter.
I have the option 'not to receive' this newsletter.

I was doubtful at first but they only wanted my name, address & telephone
number (no credit card details) so that Dell can deliver it directly to my
home.
I've already had confirmation that I really have won! :-)

I realise that these are re-furbished PC's but Wot-the-Heck!!
