Help needed

My friend's laptop has a problem - it does not light up when you click Caps
Lock
which is very annoying when it comes to inserting passwords as you are never
sure if you are using capitals!!! Can it be corrected please!!

Don't know how to fix the the light thingy, but this tells you how to get a
warning sound each time you hit Caps Lock. A high sound if you put it on and
a low sound if you have it off.

Thank you Shaz I will look into that for her, though it is a new laptop
and still under guarantee perhaps she should have it looked at to see
why it does not work.

I suspect that she has (inadvertently or otherwise) changed some setting
or other which determines whether the light shows or not. Will probably
need to read the manual to find it. :-)

Do you think so WO?, I can't see why anyone would want to shut it off,
she must have done it inadvertently
