Walter is here with the BYT, there is a slight chill in the air through the
dampness but it's a cheerful day. I just nipped down to the local Saturday
market for fresh vegetables ( unlike the supermarkets he picked them up at
the fruit market this morning) for the soup. I expected to have to hunt for
a good parking place but the town wasn't that busy, most people at out of
town stores I suppose, but I got to listen to the Sally Army band and that
together with the film last night is when it hits me that it really is
C******s :-)

Looking forward to going round to our neighbours for a drink or 5 tonight.

Well they do say February is worst, but I did say that the Met office
forecast which said the winter would be one of the coldest for the last 10
years only meant a tad cold since recent winter's have been very mild
anyway.

Am trying to chill out today as much as possible - ready for a busy day
tomorrow. Only the tree and cards to sort out today.
It is very mild out there and the sun is shining - more like a spring day
than a winter one.

Morning all. 1 tiny item to buy and wrap, then it's all done. I've got to go
and take a load of carboard , ali cans and glass jars down to the recycling

bins, pick up some parcels from the City Link Depot, and then the rest of
the day is mine. I feel like I've never stopped for a week.
Gonna catch up on some correspondence I think. There are people who will be
wondering where I have vanished to.
