Back pains :(

HI silversurfers. One time or another a silversurfer\ will hurt
their back. I did yesterday & all I did was get out of my
car. Now I'm the spiting image of Quasimodo. I've laying

Ha, I hurt mine 3 weeks ago but hope to be back to work on Monday. Drs
gave me loads of painkillers and said *don't* lie in bed it will get
worse, try and keep it mobile.

Getting fed up with painkillers I went to an osteopath who said its
badly inflamed so keep taking the painkillers, keep it moving and come
back in a few days.

I did as I was told and after a further visit and some loud cracks from
my back it is now *much* better.

Gosh, I do feel sorry for you both. Hope you get back to being vertical
really soon

I think you should take it easy for a couple of days John. Perhaps get
someone to push you around in a wheelchair until you're confident enough to
walk. A wheelchair with a beer fridge attached would be ideal. Tell them Dr
Monium prescribed it. If they ask to see Dr Monium's credentials tell them
they're in the post. Oh, and see if they can fit a peanut tray to the
wheelchair too. You gotta have nibbles to keep your strength up being
pushed everywhere.

Poor and it looks like poor Geoff as well !! it is so easy to do ;-( i
remember
years ago my Husband leaned over the back of the settee to pick up a paper
and couldn't get up.
He was in awful pain and took ages before it was right . Not meaning you
will hope it sorts itself soon for both of you ;-)))
