Anyone else got and installed it from there yet? Looks OK to me.

Not sure FN.
It went funny on me when I was installing it, the little yellow (i) popped
up in the toolbar telling me to re-start, then it said it hadn't finished,
so I did a re-start anyway, then the yellow (i) came back saying downloading
updates, so what I have now (when I look in help at "about IE" ) is:
internet explorer 6.0.2900.2180 xpsp2. is that it ?

Well mine says Version: 7.0.573.11, so I reckon for some reason you didn't
get it installed Pat. o if you want to try it you'll have to download

So does mine now :-)
I have installed it again from Windows Update instead of the IE6 page.
|
|
Can't see any difference anyway, and I have uninstalled the Yahoo toolbar
and made web-search my homepage instead of Yahoo, so it looks like it was
before.

Not a lot of difference as far as I can see.
|
I prefer to use Mozilla Firefox anyway.

I use Maxthon, Netscape, Firefox and occasionally Opera. Not all at
the same time though.

During the download process I was asked if I wanted to switch the
'Cleartype' (?) presentation which was recommended. Having experienced
Cleartype now, I'm not certain that I prefer it to the previous
non-cleartype setting. How can I switch back to compare the two
presentation types?
Thanks.
