So after taking a few minutes to decide, I said yes, and toddled off this
afternoon to Gostrey Meadow, Farnham, to see it. And there he was, with his
euphonium, playing in a brass band. 'Twos a lovely afternoon, and very
pleasant to sit in the sun and listen to a lot of old favourite tunes.

And he was right - it wos a great big one:))))))

Na, the euphonium - Gander's instrument - is small compared with the Baron's
instrument, the tuba.
But what a lovely afternoon. Even though my hearing is now so impaired I can
still follow a good brass band and enjoy their tunes.
