This young lad was interviewed for the news tonight, astonishingly he
seems a likeable and reasonably articulate young man.

Won't make a professional footballer then. They need a major degree in
idiocy to achieve that these days. :)

I guess that makes him one of a limited group that includes Shearer and
the England manager we had before the present one, can't remember his
name, and nobody seemed to think he was very effective, but he made a
good ambassador for football.

I saw an interview with him some while ago, and thought the same Jeff. Very
level-headed with sensible parents from the sound of it.

I did put a warning in the subject :-)

Not sure why Meridian concentrated so much on apples in the programme.
It included Mr over the road, Mrs next door but one and Mr over the
river, as well as the meadow over the river, not me or my house though!

Interesting to see a map of the great fire, it stopped next door but
one to where my house is :-)
