I've just been into Sainsburys and seen tins of "Organic Spaghetti".
If the wheat used in the making of spaghetti is organic, and I would
suggest anything that grows is technically speaking organic, does that
make the end product organic by default?
I didn't read the label fully but perhaps it's the tin that's organic.
Unlikely.
Ah, then perhaps the label is organic paper made from organic trees
printed with organic ink.
Anyway, if you really wanted organic spaghetti would you seriously
consider buying it in a tin?
They must think we're daft.

Organic pasta should have been made from organic wheat ie wheat grown
without the use of synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides.
Several food producers now sell organic spaghetti including Heinz.
I'm assuming the product you saw was made from wheat or was it egg
pasta, which could also be organic?

I understand that.
I think the correct description should be spaghetti made from organic
materials.
I have a car with leather seats and rubber tyres that runs on fossil
fuels, is it an organic car? The steel used in it's construction came
originally from the ground, I'm fairly certain it wasn't grown using any
synthetic fertilisers.
