Well at long last Mum is free of all infections and is in her Nursing home.

It'll take her a little while to get used to the new surroundings just as it
does with any of us when we move house.

Hopefully the reassurance of feling better and having help at hand 24/7
will help her settle.
No doubt there will be things she doesn't like and she will probably moan
cos we often dislike big changes and why did we have kids if we don't moan
at them now and then?

That is great news, Russell, you must be so relieved. Mind you, be
prepared for a few moans about how you have taken her from her home and
put her in there! Even though I have been told that Mum has told her
friend that her new flat is cosy she still has a moan at me about making
her leave her little house!
