Why - Windows

When I went to Windows update yesterday it said I had 21 critical updates to
install. I installed these. And since then I have installed Service Pack 2
(from disk)

I have just checked again now and it's telling me I need 38 critical
updates. How come

They are now fixing the holes in the updated version of Windows.
Just do it.

Yesterdays updates were for SP1, you should have waited until you had
installed SP2.

She didn't have SP1
I think they insist on patching up windows before offering you Service
Packs.

That was an old disc then. You're right on the updates.

My guess: SP2 is full of bugs and MS has discovered 38 of them.
