I could have bored you with my favourite story on the BBC at the moment

That's about 5 miles down the road from me, don't know if it will
ever happen, first they fafed about over planning now they can't
make there minds up who is paying for it.
Another big plan a couple of miles from there is a new Centre Parcs,
also an extension to the Grand Union Canal from Milton Keynes to
Bedford with an aqueduct going over the M1 with a glass bottom.
They do a lot of talking about things around here but nothing ever
seems to happen.

I'm interested in that story, because I spent between 1959-2001 living in
Bedford. I still feel part of Bedford/Bedfordshire and would love to move
back to the area.
