Rabbit...
I had to go out this afternoon, I left with my rain jacket 'cos I was sure
there was more wet stuff on the way. Within 10 minutes Walter arrived and it
was a scorcher out there, still is. However the odd thing is that we have a
severe weather warning in force for 16.00 but with only a few minutes to go
there ain't a sign of a breeze never mind gales.

Pam the goose...
We've missed the grey clouds all day, they've gone across the north sky
without even threatening us.
It's as still as can be here, pleasant, not oppressive, and the temp has
been top 70s most of the day.

Hope it stays as it is with you, you can do without gales at this time of
year:(

Rabbit...
Well the gales haven't arrived yet *but* I've just been out to my car and
it's really sweaty hot out there and so still. It feels like we need/ might
get Funder and Frightening to clear the air. Just checked and at Prestwick
Airport at 18.20 it's 72°F 22°C, that's warm for this time of evening.

Pam the goose...
We've developed little gusts of wind and trees are beginning to move. But
it's still very warm out there - I've just been doing some gardening, that's
how warm it is!
Way to the north of us there are rain clouds but they're moving the opposite
way to the predicted bad weather from Ireland. Maybe you won't get the

Rabbit...
We didn't ( well sort of during the night but not severe) and the next day
( Friday) was such a scorcher I was having afternoon tea/coffee outside a
cafe.

Pam the goose...
Yes, I think it all went the wrong way, well, not how they had thought it
would do.

It's still summer-like weather here. Hard to believe it's almost October!

gales!
