Is it possible to use a mobile phone to record a conversation which is
taking place near where the mobile is being held?

Maybe one half of the conversation but it'd be poor quality unless they
were very close or you were taling very loud.
|
I'm asking cos I don't know what the newest mobile phones are like, and I
think I may have been recorded on one.
Ta heaps folks

Nothing too serious Barry, although it was at the time. A big difference of
opinion about the quality of work done in my new abode. I was told
afterwards that the conversation had been recorded but I didn't even know
that mobiles had recorders included - I do now!!

A little late but my Nokia 6230i has a voice recorder of very good
quality which can be used for recording calls or normal conversations
etc it also has a 1.3 megapixel camera (capable of stills or video), an
FM radio and a music player among all the other usual things like
calculator, converter calender etc.
Oh and you can use it as a phone if you wish ;-)

It's all sorted now, the work has now been done properly, and paid for.
So sorry, no scandal and gossip here - unless you know of any:))
