I never have a problem fitting in five fruit and veg into my day Sam, in
fact I probably have more like 10 LOL

Really? In the recommended portion size, not counting potatoes or other
starchy veg, and only one portion as juice, no matter how much you drink.
I thought I was exceeding five a day until I actually went to their site and
saw how much constitutes a portion.

so that's eight portions IF you had a bowl of spinach (yuk), and a bowl of
lettuce, and 4 heaped tablespoons of blueberries, which strikes me as being a
lot.

No doubt, but if Id had 80grams of spinach, and the trout with lemon, and
80grams of blueberries, and fromage frais, I don't think I'd be wanting any
soup or a pile of salad, and certainly not 2 kiwi fruits for dessert.

I love veggies, soups and salads, and some fruits, but apples and pears
bore me LOL

For comparison, I had a banana with breakfast, an apple with lunch, don't
think the sandwich filling would rate as another portion, and lettuce,
tomato, red pepper and spring onion for tea (but the onion and pepper don't
amount to a portion between them). I don't usually eat supper. So, thats
about four and a half portions.

Breakfast - large papaya.
lunch - cold salmon,new pots(spuds don't count)
chopped leeks with parsley,and glass of
V8 vegetable jiuce
tea - avocado pear.
That makes me one short.
