It's been a lovely warm day here, not exactly Walter but I'm sure that light
grey up above was just a heat haze, there was certainly plenty on the
horizon. The chilly breeze has gone at last and it could actually be summer
out there today.

Getting there, I think. It has been 4+ weeks of misery. I'd heard shingles
can be painful, I never realised just how painful they are. Hopefully on
the mend now, thank you.

Good morning Mike, glad you are feeling better. Ted had shingles and if he
is feeling a bit unwell he can feel where the shingles were again, nasty
things.I read they may have a vaccine to stop them now!! too late once you
have had them I think!.

Another series I enjoyed was 'One Foot in the Grave', did you ever see that

I've just checked my evening's viewing: Eggheads BBC2 @ 6pm, then the News.
That's it, nothing else worth watching.
And that's good 'cos it means I can Switch Off the TV and Go and Do
Something Interesting Instead (to paraphrase a TV title)

Not quite such a bright morning but it looks promising. Hairdressers this
morning for both of us then I am helping friend with her new laptop later,
she is new to computing so has a lot to learn but she is happy that she can
send and receive e-mails o.k. now.

I don't remember much about mine, Mike and Noreen, except I spent the first
two weeks in bed, and even after that it was a further 5 weeks before I was
able to go back to work. Mine was stress-related, and I still have the scars
to show for it:((

The children have been lucky with the weather, back to the traffic jams on
the school run again, we try to avoid it but it seems quite a few are now
being collected for home lunches now!!!!
