A very low subject excitement value I know, but I was just wondering.
Frogman...
|
Sorry it's a high excitement value cos I *love* them :-)
|
You either love 'em or hate 'em.
Rabbit...
|
I love them raw but can't eat them cooked.
|
Personally I love 'em (although I might not particularly be Mr Popular the following day).
Gareth...
|
I love them providing they're not overcooked and mushy. They should
have a certain amount of firmness to them. :-)
|
Baldrick...
|
Gotta be the best veggie ever ... (As long as they're not over-cooked).

My brother maintains that sprouts are aliens from outer space. I think
he may be right.
|

|
I love them too. It's ok as long as everyone else had them as well. ;-)
|
Banana :)
Bram...
|
I like em.
Are you coming to the Meet tomorow then..? We'll forgive the flatulence.
Bram...
|
Hope there are plenty of sprouts there for you.
:-)

|
Ssshhh, or the government will tax them next for polluting the
atmosphere.

What shape is a ulence normally then? ;)

Aries...
|
I really love them, I even eat left over ones cold from the fridge next
day lol
Baldrick...
|
This thread was OK until you mentioned you eat them cold Yuuuuuuuukkkkk !
Aries...
|
You should try it ;)
Baldrick...
|
Ice-cream is meant to be eaten cold, not sprouts !
Michaelangelo...
|
Ever tried Baked Alaska?
Baldrick...
|
Is that anything liked baked beans ?
Michaelangelo...
|
Not particularly :) It's ice cream inside meringue. To make it you have
to put the ice cream coated with meringue in a very hot oven (gas 9).
The trick is to cook the meringue without melting the ice cream. You've
got to be very quick getting it into the oven so the temp doesn't drop
too much when the oven doors open. Delicious if it works.

Surely we can eat anything we like whether other folk agree or not, and
yes ice cream is best eaten cold :)

One of my favourite vegetables - as long as they're not overcooked.
They should be crunchy not soggy. And as alternatives I like Broccoli
and also broad beans.
|
Grannie Annie...
|
Whistleberries, mmmm, I love 'em.
|

I like them! Our Christmas dinner ones were put on a low light in October
so they should be ready for the big day

Amazing the way this thread has developed over such a simple subject. I
wouldn't have thought 'sprouts' would have generated so much hot air.

Well you know what thought did! :)

Usually I hate them. But then they are usually overcooked. If they're
cooked just right I find them delicious. So did my dear old Dad - he
reckoned they were his "favourite fruit" - and that from the owner of a
greengrocer's shop. :)
