It's the out and about that I like best. The ancient stuff was superb,
but I do love to people -watch ;-)

any of the tombs in the Valley off the Kings etc, so I just have my
memories in my head for those.

Yep, I heard comments like that wherever I went..I kept telling them I

Some wonderful piccies there, thank you for showing them. Such a contrast
between the Alps and Egypt.

Hand in the air..I only 'think' they are the Alps LOL they should put
signposts up for those of us in the planes From the time we had been
flying and the direction the pilot said he was taking I decided they
'were' the Alps..and if they weren't, well they should be!
Whatever they were, they looked fantastic from up in the plane!

On another note, I remember being very smug when I laid out my Camera
site, I 'future' proofed it by setting it out to stretch to 2005. Seemed
a long way away then, but suddenly I have had to add another folder for
2006! Anyone who knows where the intervening time has gone to, please

Hope it arrives a bit less intermittently than ours does ! I have never
lived anywhere which has as many powercuts as we do. Mind you, my mate
Ian doesn't help, the leccy lines run across his field and they send
someone now and then to trim back the tree which the silly power company
threaded it through. They came in the summer, guy set to with his
ladders and chain saw, trimmed the tree right back and Ian stood and
watched. Not till it was all done did he point out that the guy had
nicely trimmed the wrong tree

That's okay Boo. We have plenty of rattlesnakes & in Florida
the little coral snake will put you to permanent sleep faster than
any cobra. Btw it's my world famous mystery oil. Gezze! :-)

I have seen them, but Thompson fly to most of those places from Coventry
