JoeH...
Anyone else got them?

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
No probs here Joe

I was cut off, can't get back on and have had to post this from a dial-up
account.

Isn't dial-up slow ;-)

home...
Morning Joe I wasn't having any trouble at my end,
hope its sorted now.
Dial up is awful slow ;-))))

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Usually around 46 kbps compared to the usual 2000+ kbps, so yes it is just

BunnyHare...
I had that last week Val. Finally got back on but had to disconnect
everything (router telephone computer) leave them all unplugged for a
while then plug them back in and switch on again. But you have probably
already tried that :-(

Aries...
I do that every night Barb :(

a tad slow in comparison, but then it'sbetter than nowt. :) And 10 years
ago you'd have been more than happy to get 40+ kbps anyway. :)

Aries...
I've been having so many slow downs and cut offs recently with PlusNet,
never used to be like this with them and I'm fed up. I pay £21 odd for
this connection and it ain't working - literally not working or running
very slow for a huge percentage of the time.

home...
Had very little probs with Plus net Val really recently and I only pay
£14-99;-)

Aries...
I think it's more to do with the area I live in somehow Noreen ? I didn't

pmj...
Yep, more than likely.

It's not likely to be the ISP itself - far more likely to be an
Exchange problem - so (as yo usay), any otehr ISP is likely to have
similar probs, since they all use the same actual equipment at the
Exchange.
(unless you're in an Area where LLU (Local Loop Unbundling) is
in place) & then, you would have all the various problems associated
with that.

used to have probs connecting and staying connected but I do now, and often
- every day in fact :(

pmj...
It's prolly down to the Exchange being "Upgraded", ready for the
MaxDSL stuff.

jackie...
Thats expensive Val, have you thought about changing? touch wood I do not
have many problems at all the speeds might not be great that I get but they
are fast enough for me.
I might look into Sky BB when it is in our area as we subscribe to Sky!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I know two people who have look into Sky BB. One in Notts and one in North
Somerset. The one in North Somerset not only has the full Sky package but
Sky Plus as well. Both were told that the free package was not available
in their areas but they could get it for £17-99 per month. So where are
they letting their customers have the free package? It says in the ads
that it's free for those who pay > £30 per month for their satellite TV
channels

home...
Mine is well fast enough for me Jackie !! i certainly wouldn't like to go
back to dial up
unless I had too. But would prolly be glad of it ;-))))

Aries...
and this morning I can't get any web pages - being terribly slow to load

jackie...
No problems here Val, but then I do not use my computer as much as you I
suppose.
only just recently tiscali let me down but not for long!

and then nowt !

Aries...
It is expensive, I chose it because the bandwidth option but I'm seriously
thinking now of going back to what I had origionally - or changing my isp
altogether - but whether one isp is much better than another is debateable

JoeH...
Just tried again and got this page when trying to access *anything*

Looks like it's not me - I hope.

JoeH...
Don't think it was me - haven't changed owt and it's back. Off to check the
Plusnet status page.

David C....
So, back online again?
