Help on printer please

I have a Lexmark all in one printerX75 a friend has given me, it is a

Thank you Val, that is the one. I was looking on Lexmark site for the wrong
number
and could not find the model, I had Z75 stuck in my mind when I should have
been looking for X75, I should not have been doing this late in the evening.
Will have another go when I have more time and earlier in the day.!!

scanner printer combined, it has a CD but it seems to be for a Macintosh OS
so that will not run on XP?? she seems to think it is the only CD she had. I
have tried it on my laptop but the CD would not run so I used XP wizard,

Yikes!!! That's likely to cost you an arm and a leg to buy replacement

and have told my friend about it so I think they will tootle off and get one
then I can get it going for her, she is
very new to computing. They also have printer paper in there for under Ł1.50
for 500 sheets I have bought some of that and it is fine.

it has installed but it just will not print, one plug that goes into the
printer is a large one, more like a battery, with a small cable coming from
it which fits into the mains. This big plug seems very wobbly as though it
should fit tighter but it just will not go right in. I have looked on the
Lexmark site but cannot find this X75 mentioned. Does anyone know anything
about this printer/scanner please!!!
