For Sea

Last post Sea. I promise. I just came upon your Block Island
photos. My wife & I spent at least a week there when I was
healthy. We would take the Block Island Ferry from New London.
We stayed at a friends cottage. It was wonderful. No cars but we
would rent a mo-ped & buzz around. The beach was great & I would
go fishing for stripped bass (stripers) & blue fish. (Blues)

You brought back some great days so as Bob Hope would say,
"Thanks for the memories."

I can just see you and Betty Ann on a mo-ped.
Didn't know you were a fisherman. Fishing is a big sport on
Block Island. How lucky you were to have a friend with
a cottage there! The guide said that houses on Block
Island are worth in the millions nowadays. It's nice that the
conservancy groups keep much of the island undeveloped
and natural. The guide said the actor, Christopher Walken,
has a place on Block Island.
There must be plenty of other notables with summer places there.

They have a sharp-looking high speed ferry from New London to Block Island.
