Had a great time ........

last night - out with the children and grand children celebrating our 50
years of marriage.

The food was great and plenty of it and the champagne flowed like water -
but tasted different, of course :)

It was nice being with all of them, we seem to manage to all get together 3
times a year. It was great seeing the grand children together and funny
watching the 6 year old bossing the 18 and 14 year olds. But they do take
it all in good spirits - just as well I suppose ;)

Sounds like a wonderful family celebratory time Anita, I love occasions
like that. Tony and I have been married 48 years this coming May so our
Golden Wedding will be in 2008 and if we are still around we will have a
big family party :D

We were going to have a family party - but felt it better for Ron that he
was not put under that pressure. We had fun and the children and grand
children did - that was good for him :)

Glad you had a good time with the grandchildren, our grandchildren are all
growing-up but we now have 4 Greatgrands but not near enough to see often!

We are lucky, Jackie - son with the youngest lives 15 minutes from us and
daughter about 45 minutes away. So we do see a good bit of them throughout
the year, and often have the little one here for the day - then I lose the
use of my pc, because he takes it over.
These young ones are so good on the computer it is amazing to see - but not
the same as having fun playing games outdoors !

It is nice to see the Grandchildren Anita, we were very lucky when we had
four Granddaughters from the one family we used to take them on holidays and
spend time in our caravan with them, like another family to us. They are all
grown-up now and one has two of our Great Grandsons!.
