Partying over. Noreen has gone to bed, I don't think she got much sleep
last night thinking of our dear friend.

Sorry I missed your birthday, I have been thinking about you and Noreen,
since reading about Bagpuss.

Just like to thank everybody again for all the good wishes that I have
had in here today. Together with all the cards I received by snail mail
and the meal I was treated to at lunchtime it has been a day to
remember.
Plus I am now the proud owner of a lovely new mousemat and Gel hand
rests for the computer, chocolates, plants for the garden, 3 bags of
wood chipping oh - and
A voucher for a champagne flight in a hot air balloon.

It has saved me racking my brains for something special to do. Each 0
and 5 birthday year since I turned 40 I have tried to do something
special/different from anything I have done before
So far I have done
skiing (dry slope)
assault course
climbing wall
abseiling
flown a glider

Wonder if the pilot will let me help fly the balloon :-))
