Shame the family has been kept in the dark. Hopefully now the op is over
your BIL will have some info but the important bit is that the op is over
and hopefully your sister is on the road to recovery.

Well, at least she has had the op, whatver it may have been!
Hopefully, by now , someone will have explained what happened. It 'is' a
shame, Nurses used to tell you stuff like that, the basics anyway and then
the docs could fill in the details when they arrived.

My sister should have gone in to surgery fist thing
this morning so didn't have any visitors today.
She didn't go into theatre till 5pm (so was just laying there
waiting for two days) :o(

When BIL visited this evening she was back in the ward but
hadn't come round from the op.

All the doctors had gone home by then so no one could tell
him what they had done.

No more visiting until 8pm tomorrow :o(

I'm not suprised your faith is declining.

My MIL is having some slow responses for tests and so on at the moment.
Mrs Tyke is becoming very frustrated :-(

It is difficult waiting, especially when she has coem so far, but maybe
the tests aer the kind that take a day or so for results to develop?
Though if that is the case, soemone should have explained. Its still what
we don't know that worries us more than what we do know. Tykes and in laws
on me list ;-)

Think that might have been the problem FN, she has been walking about
like a two year old and keeps falling over.

On a more serious note, thank you all for your thoughts and good wishes
