Try this one as it allows you to save some of your data so that you
don't need to put any of your settings in again. Just download on of the
cowsave files from the Preserve data link and follow the simple
instructions.

It runs fine but I have just took the HDD from my old m/c and put it into
this one and installe Mandriva 2006 on to it.
I already had Mandrake 10.1 on this drive so it wasn't much pf a problem
getting it up and running. ;-)

Mandiva 2006 ran very slowly on a machine that previously ran Mandrake 2005
ok.
Mepis runs fine on it. Think I'm sticking with Simply Mepis 3.4.3 for the
Moment. I like it. I've tried a few disros now and this one is the least
fannyingon and that. ;-)

Mandriva 2006 runs fine as a dual boot with XP Home on this m/c. I
wasn't keen on Mepis when I tried it last year.

If only the package manager link was right.I'm sure I'll crack that and find
an alternative link that wxrks. At the moment though It's got all I want.
Will try that disto though.
