Graham...
North Yorks Moors Railway:

Ben the Black Lab...
Great pictures Graham - thanks.

Graham...
Thanks, Ben ;-)

I was there last week :

Graham...
Friday was when I was there.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Looks like our Ben is an easy rider. :)

And (massive 18 MB file) :-

Graham...
I viewed it all without a paws ;-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Those sights and sounds brought back memories. :)
Especially of the overnight milk train from Sheffield to London when going
back to Uni in the very early 60s. Stopped at every b******g station and
you couldn't get a wink of sleep. :(

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Shades of Heartbeat methinks. :)

Late evening, Whitby:

Bram...
Brilliant!!!!

Graham...
Thanks, Bram.

I just love Yorkshire!!

...especially Whitby.

Graham...
Although the weather was very good while we were in the area the
coast was shrouded in sea mist for most of the daylight hours, hence

Bram...
I love the Evening as well..!

I am a creature of the night.

Keep up at the back..!

the evening pics ;-)

Graham...
You sneaked that one by me... wasn't difficult, was it ;-)

biffo...

Graham...
Thanks, Biffo :-))

Great pics graham.

Bill P.

BunnyHare...
Some lovely photos. The railwy ones brought back memories of when, as a
child, I lived by the main Lincoln-Boston line.
I liked the contrast between blackandwhite and colour photos

Smokey...
Lovely piccies Graham, hope you enjoyed your time in Whitby and surrounding
area, did you get to Goathland ??

Graham...
Thanks, Smokey. We passed through Goathland on the train but didn't
have time to stop there.

Smokey...
Next time maybe, it's lovely :-))

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Ah yes! I remember it well.

Beautiful piccies Graham - lots of character.

Graham...
Thank you, FN :)

Foxy at w*rk...
Ahhhh I have travelled that line from Pickering to Goathland a time or two.
My boys used to love it. Whitby is also one of my favorite haunts (Bram lol)
Thanks Graham

noreen...
Thankyou Graham just loved all of them but the train absolutely brilliant ,
I just love the old trains.
I lived near a train station when I was a kid ,and there was nothing I loved
better than to get down to the
bridge over the railway , and wait for the trains and get the number and
smell the smell you can only get from the old steam trains ;-))))
