Yeah, I got up to find the Windows computer had rebooted itself. I am
*so* tempted to turn automatic updates off and let it nag :(

Yep agree, 'Notify me but don't actually download or install them', that's
how mine's set.

It must have taken me about 10 minutes to download those last night - and I
was downloading at around 2800 kbps - it were a biggun. :)
