Good morning one and all from a very wet Cornwall.

Morning all
Fine and dry here
Mr Blackbird is having his breakfast. Mrs isn't there this morning so
looks as if she is busy next building or maybe even sitting already
German class. We seem to be doing a lot of writing and grammar at the
minute. I only really wanted conversational German - just enough to get
by, even if what I said wasn't grammatically correct :-((
Perhaps I'll take up painting instead

And from a wet and soggy Ayrshire. From the water on the roads I guess it
has been wet most of the night, this morning was showers but heavy at times.
It's dry just now and quite bright and mild but if it follows this morning
that won't last for long. The snow flattened Daffodils are actually trying
to stand back up but some of them look beyond hope. They will do for cutting
for bringing indoors, a thing which I rarely do with my Daffodils 'cos I
prefer them where I planted them.Oh and there's still half a snowman in Mrs
Roundthecorner's garden, must have been a solid Frosty :-)

I took loads of snow photos when in Glasgow at the weekend. We were
marooned for a time on Sunday before my younger son was able to pick us up
to see the grand children again on Sunday afternoon.

We are expecting more snow \I think Jackie , not looking forward to that .
I have promised to go to the dance too so hope it stay's away, we have still

Hope you are all well. Good to read that Tyke is back home in Oz safe and
sound. Despite the speed of modern air travel it's still a long way away
and it takes a while to recover fully from jet lag.

I've just read that our local reservoir is now up to 91% of its capacity -
more water than we ever had last year. There's just a chance it may be 100%
full before the summer starts - if we get one, that is ;-) I feel sorry for
the folk in the southeast who are already being issued with hosepipe bans.
It's the twins' Mum's birthday today so we are going in to Falmouth later
this morning to deliver pressies. Maybe get a photo or two while we are

Mum is happy now that the twins are sleeping through the night - at least
