Not one of the best days to try out my new bus pass cos it were tossing
down. Went to Reading as a recce for meeting a Bristolian friend there next
month.
On the way back a huge truck sliced into the drivers cab, smashed the glass
of the cab, completely sheared off the wing mirror and went along the
bodywork. No injuries or anything but a bit scary.

Hope you have recovered from the shock now. Not a good introduction to Bus
Pass travel. So glad no one was injured

Do you think somebody was trying to tell you something about the new pass
??? :-)
Glad nobody was hurt though, could have been nasty

It won't put me off using it again Sandra, but I wouldn't go to Reading
again by choice. Might try Winchester next

I found the noise of the crash worse than anything else Val. Came home and
had a cuppa tea - that makes everything OK

Glad to hear it was 'just' a minor accident, however scary at the time. Did
you manage not to break into the choccy supply to treat the shock?
Splodge...
|
Yes I've been a good girl Linda. Two weeks and counting....
