G.M.T.THURSDAY 22.12.05

Good morning everyone, very dark out there but it looks as though it has
been raining.

Now who was it that said just the other day that the supermarkets were quiet
? Oh it was me. I think the world and it's dog have decided to shop today. I
can't make up my mind if it's just dawned on people or if they are trying to
beat the rush on Saturday. A friend and I are very organised people, if it
could freeze it was bought weeks ago so a quick pop into ASDA for a loaf and
milk sort of thing turned into a marathon affair, queuing to get into the
car park and queuing to get back out. The store itself was mayhem but to
give ASDA their due the checkouts were well manned ( or even womanised for
the PC brigade) or we were very lucky with our timing.
It's been a grey day too with either clouds or showers, some quite heavy but
it's still very mild for December.

Still overcast, dark and damp here, so didn't trust the weather with
washing out on the line today. Using that old wooden clothes horse again

are doing;-)))
