Poota word games - discrimination !

LOL was playing a word game this morning..gives you letters and you make
as many words as you can trying to use them all up.
Blooming thing discriminated against me!
I put in 'clarty' - should have given me extra points for using 6
letters.
and it said .... 'no such word'

You shouldn't have to ReFormat your PC, or get rid of WinXP...

You can pick various weird sort of Foreign Languages in there!

If your version doesn't have the Language that you want, maybe
you should take it back & ask for a Refund? [*1]

windoze claims to have all sorts of "Localization" type stuff.

But if you didn't specify that you wanted a Version that included
that particular Language, then (under the Sale of Goods Act), you
may well find that the Retailer you bought it from won't Refund you.

(I presume that Santa Claus *is* covered by the Sale of Goods Act?)
& If he isn't, then he might have his own special Terms, under which
he can supply a "Localization" Package?

If that gets you nowhere, try asking the supplier of the Word Game,
if they have any Localization Options?

Most decent Software comes with the facility to change the Language
used in it, so that it can be sold in various different markets around
the World - I presume they count "Ooop North" as being part of this
World?

If they don't, maybe you could write your own Localization File for it?

Have a good Poke around in the Program's Folders & Files - looking for
the various Language Files(& maybe use something like Resource Hacker,
to find them, if they are actually in the .EXE & .DLL Files?)
& you can prolly put in your own Words! - Such as "clarty" & "plodge".
