Help please

For the last couple of days I have 4 - 2cm yellow bands down my screen. :-(

Rebooting and waiting doesn't cure this problem.
No virus found.

Any suggestions please?

I'm having trouble with my modem too - keep getting intermittant cut-offs so
have to wait for a connection again. :-(

My money is on a graphics card problem. Also, check the integity of the
cable from PC to monitor. If it has been stressed, a wire inside could have
been damaged. I have read of this happening. HTH :)

If it were a fault in the monitor or lead, the screen grab would not show
the problem. So graphics card is a near certainty.

Yep, got that.
As Anita says it does look as if it may be the Graphics card, perhaps
it's become slightly dislodged from it's seat, Hopefully pmj will be
along shortly to advise.
