Donner und Blitzen

Listening to Magic FM on Sky with the presenter saying how lovely and warm
it is in London as it gets darker and darker here. Then Sky stopped
receiving so I switched to Magic FM on Freeview, a bit patchy but better
than nothing. Then the rain started (and how) and the funder and
frightening. Then the power cuts started, off and on 6 or 7 times in the
last 15 minutes, currently off (I have 76% in the laptop but no router).

At least the air will get cooler and fresher, although the mutt is
terrified.

Oh, power's back, send this quick!

That's right Jeff same here with the power cuts. This is the first time
hours I dare to plug in my pc and router !

We had the storms early morning and quite a lot of rain I believe the
gardens certainly needed it.
The storm has been circling around us most of the morning, could hear it in
the distance, still overcast and just a little cooler.

Had all that within the last hour, except no power cuts and Gizmo and Fudge
aren't bothered by it. It feels a bit cooler in the breeze, but it's still
so sticky. Stand in one spot, shaded from sun and breeze, and you're
likely to dissolve in your own sweat (sorry ladies perspiration or glow) in
no time at all. Get the iced water botlles out. Good job I was able to get
that new fridge so quickly.

Well before our storms and downpour the outside temp was 25.4°C (77.4°F) and
humidity 54%. Since the storm the temperature dropped to 24.2°C (75.6°)
and is still that with the humidity up to 65%. As BYT is now out in all his
glory I expect the temp to star rising again.
