Saxman...
I know some of you have Win TV cards out there.

Mine worked fine until recently.

However, when using 'Scheduler', whereby one can record video to file
(bit like a video recorder for a computer), I cannot locate the file
after recording in order to view it.

Where is the location by default?

How does one choose another location to save the file?

I have done a file search after recording, but cannot locate it.
Scheduler remembers previous recordings, as it always creates a new
file title every time.

I have tried seeking help on the Hauppage website without luck. It's a

From help files.........
"The quality of the video recording and the directoy where the files are
stored are set in the MPEG Settings menu."

"The recorded video file is saved in the DVCR Recorded File Path that can be
configured from the MPEG Settings menu"

Mine are in a folder on my F drive called 'my TV'

Open Win TV screen............. then.......... menue/configere/mpeg settings

This option is 'greyed-out' with me. That could be the problem? I

How about looking in C:\My Documents\My videos directory - a long shot
but that is where I would look.

Saxman...
It's not there. It goes through all the motions and nothing happens!
I cannot persuade 'Scheduler' to prompt me for a file location.

Aries...
How about using the search facility ?

Anita...
Try sending an email to the manufacturers then

Saxman...
I've done that thanks.

Strangely, If I do a recording from the screen without 'Scheduler', it
records to file without problems.

Good luck in finding it anyway :)
