Youngest granddaughter fractured her left wrist last night. She was running
indoors (tut tut) and slipped. She went to Casualty this morning. It is in
plaster, and she has to go to the Fracture clinic at Kings Lynn tomorrow.

I wonder how many people will sign her plaster for her. Shouldn't be too
bad for her since I believe bones repair themselves very quickly in the
young.

Poor thing but I expect once she is over the initial shock she will be
playing the injured soldier and revelling in the attention

My Merkin friend's granddaughter did the same last week, she got a shocking
pink plaster ( her choice of colour) They do heal quickly at that age, I'm
presuming your granddaughter is about the same age, Lauren is 4.

Yes she is 4 and she has been told she can have a pink plaster tomorrow. She
has just been to show us her arm. She said "I didn't cry" which was very
good as her Mum couldn't go to the XRay with her cos she is pregnant.

Poor little luv! After the initial shock children seem to thrive on the
attention they get.
The four weeks will soon be up and she'll soon forget about it!

Poor little mite.

What a shame - but at least children seem to heal better than adults do -
hope all goes well :)

she can get it signed by her friends ;-)))))

Yes children do heal quickly. It is a green stick fracture so should be
about 4 weeks.
