According to this morning's press the norf of Scotland on Monday had the
coldest May day since records began.Coincidentally it was exactly a year
since it had the warmest May Day since records began.

Well that seems about right then, 'cos they say with global warming the
average increases a little bit, but the extremes are getting more extreme.

The drought's so badly affected us down here that my dau's school has
cancelled their annual duck race, due to be held on Friday pm, because
the stream they use is dangerously deep and fast flowing. The event
may have to be cancelled altogether if this drought continues.
