I happened upon this choice bit while surfing the Net today.
It was written by an author born in 1913.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It is popularly believed that our grandmothers were unathletic,
but no girl who operated a parlour organ lacked exercise, pumping
with her feet, clawing at the Vox Humana and Celeste stops with
her hands and wagging her head to keep time. But the parlour
organ went out when short skirts came in. Many a young fellow
of the nineties, charmed by his girl's command of her organ,
married her, only to discover on his wedding night that she had
legs like an eight-day bicycle racer -- the result of furious pedalling.
When skirts were raised, the jig was up."
-Robertson Davies, (1913-1995), Canadian novelist, playwright,
critic, journalist, and professor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What would Davies say today, when so many women are very
athletic and have muscles like men in their arms as well as
their legs! (lol) Men, do muscular women turn you off?

I guess that means you don't like muscular women, Pete.
At first I thought it meant you don't like the old song by
Irving Berlin. (g) I used to love that song. Times have changed!
These days people would call it stereotyping.

I do not like those women who show off there muscles !!I think they look
terrible, and they take steroids
to get the muscles , I cannot see anything nice at all, I wonder what the
men think too ;-)))

Muscular women are not attractive to me, they look like men! those
beutiful curves all dissapear into rippling muscles so all there would
be to admire is muscles! Hmm no thanks
In anycase how could you clasp such an oiled woman to a manly breast?
with all that oil on her body she pop out of your arms and impact the
celing like a champagne cork out of a bottle ;-)

I see that most of the replies here indicate that very
muscular women are not very appealing to you.
How about women with what they call "definition" in their
muscles, not so much muscle-bound women, but women
with well-shaped arms and legs? The "definition" is the result
of a good exercise program, not overly-strenuous weight-lifting.
"Definition" seems to be the goal of many women these days.

is that appaling or appealing? ;-)

LOL! A great play on words, Len!
I'd rather be appealing than appalling. (g) Unfortunately, as
one gets older, one goes from appealing to appalling!

not really sure what you mean by definition i would have to look and
see. But i do like to sea a shapely leg or two ? ;-)

Shapely arms on a woman are nice too, with a bit of
definition to the muscle, but not too much. It's a healthy look.
Renée Zellweger has nice legs. She was in the movie, Chicago.
Here's a good shot of her legs:

For starters you have to have narrow knees as well as good definition for

so long as they're not knackered knees ;)

not :)
