BunnyHare...
Hi there and welcome (back)
Hope you will stick around.
I will try to get the grammar correct but sometimes these fingers have a
mind of their own!

silversurfers.

Aries...
Hi Greg, welcome to the group - we're all young at heart in here so pull up
a chair and make yourself at home :)

JoeH...
Welcome (back) Greg, how "impending" is the birthday?

I was here briefly 3 or so years back but don't expect
to be remembered - so this is a new join really.

Rabbit...
3 years ? Most of us can't remember 3 hours ago :-)

JoeH...
groups says you were on about "coo candy"

Greg Lewin...
yes, I recall it now! but had forgotten ... did I
mention Tobermory Tatties?

The Net has a long memory, it seems.

I have some high expectations of you all! I expect
correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, as you all

But we weren't taught keybaord skills, and if we were, the keybaords were
*very* different to the ones we use now. ICT keypunch anyone?

Welcome back, BTW, it's nice to have youngsters around the place :^)

Happy new year Greg, hope to see you sticking around this time.

Pam the goose...
Hi, Greg! Welcome back:)

Anita Carter...
Hello Greg, nice to see you in here and hope that you stay around :)

frogman...
A warm welcome to ups Greg :-)

Just forget your high expectations, our rememberers stopped
doing what they should some years back.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Welcome back Greg and best wishes to your good self for this new year and

Greg Lewin...
Since I can't really reply to all the welcomes
separately, I'll take this short cut to say many thanks
for them.

I now confidently expect to make many mistakes in my
typed English. Sorry in advance.

beyond.
As a retired science teacher - I hope you won't mind if I don't bother to
check and coreect your grammar, spelling and punctuation. Almost 53 then?
Just a year to go before taking your early voluntary early retirement then,
just like I did 11½ years ago. :)

Greg Lewin...

BoyPete...
Well, we have our own 'english' in here, so don't worry.
Btw, I have a VERY plump brown rabbit if that's any use to you?
There is another rabbit around.......................take no notice of it ;)
wish it were possible - I haven't managed my career
cleverly enough, unless I can produce some very plump
white rabbits in the next 12 months.

Rabbit...
Somebody taking my name in vain ???:-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
When I read that I thought of *Stew* and *Alice* but not *Sandra*

Rabbit...
Is Stew Alice's boyfriend ???:-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°5 +...
No, he's the one with suet dumplings. :)

Rabbit...
Bet he suets them too :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Must be bedtime, I don't get that pun or whatever it is - nighty night

JoeH...
....and to you sir, again welcome.

7of9...
check out what you said for yourself Greg.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Can't you cultivate a profitable relationship with that nice Mr Camelot
then? :)

BoyPete...
You can run, but you can't hide ;)

Rabbit...
It ???? Oh if Troy was here now you'd be well bitten :-P

Greg Lewin...
very true. I'm trying to go straight now.

Your post is #15 in that thread.

Greg Lewin...
Doh!

Sometimes I think my mind is just one big conditioned
reflex.

I wonder if there's any original thoughts in there at all.

I sometimes do an exercise in the morning, meaning to
make it a habit but it's not established yet - think up
20 original uses for common objects, e.g. a drawing
pin, a pencil, a saucer - with the intention of keeping
senility at bay one day longer.

BunnyHare...
I like that idea. What was today's object

Ali...
Some people may think that if you start using common objects in original
(and therefore unusual) ways, senility has arrived. :^)

Foxy at w**k...
Hello and welcome Greg, allthough I probably won't be able to live up to

Smokey...
Oh I remember Tobermory tatties very well, and Coo candy !!! Memories,
memories flooding back

I daren't eat Coo candy now..............cant afford the
dentist.............lol

MCC...
Welcome back Greg. I try to use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
but even I get it wrong occasionally :-))
I blame the ex-teachers in here :-))

Bram...
Hi Greg.

My Grammar is quite good. She went to Grammar school to learn how to talk
proper.
She met me Grandar there. ;-)

Welcome back.

BoyPete...
Thou art most welcome Greg. Me dost hope our humble assembly will meet with
your great expectations,
Your servant,
Dickens. C

Tickettyboo...
Dear Mr Dickens
Could you see your way to writing a new book please? I think Troy's
Human knows Bleak House off by heart now

BoyPete...

BoyPete...
