Good Morning all.

Good Morning all from a sunnyish but hazy Leeds
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

A few large drops of rain about an hour ago. Now we've got Walter and
BYT - and temp rising beyond 13°C (55.4°F) right now.

Good morning Russell and everyone from a cloudy and hazy Cornwall.

Good morning....and to everyone else....
|
Probably the only time I have the opportunity to do this is the right
timezone.
(sorry for pinching your spot Mike)
MCC...
|
T'aint my spot, mate! I've always considered it Bagpuss's spot and I was
only a very poor substitute. Sadly, Bagpuss is no longer with us, at least
not physically. Doesn't stop me still looking for a post from her, though
:-(
I've never considered it a race either ;-) I post a GMT if I'm up and
about, which I often am, but on a day like today when I manage to get a
decent night's sleep then someone else gets a look-in :-))
|
Today is the day that we start to sort Mum's house out,it feels like a
bad day already but it has to be done.

Good morning Russell, it is a beautiful sunny morning here.
It is not a `happy` job you have to do today and I expect you will find
things that bring back memories, photos etc. and you will also find things
to treasure.
Your two nephews will keep you busy too.
~~seadancer~~...
|
Well said, Jackie. Yes, there are so many things left to treasure
when a loved one dies. Too bad we can't keep them all.
It's a time for hard decisions. It's nice when we can hold onto
special things. Part of life's pleasures is happy memories.

Not a nice job but hopefully you will find lots of good memories to help you
through the job.

MCC...

Been there and done that and it's not the most pleasant of jobs, but it has
to be done. Head down and get stuck in, is the only advice I can give.
I was fortunate in that I had the help of my two younger brothers and
sister so that lightened the load considerably, but they still felt it
necessary to ask me if they felt a decision of some sort was needed.

biggeordie...

Think on all the good memories.

My Brother and SIL are away on business this weekend so I'm
"Babysitting" my two nephews aged 16 and 13.
biggeordie...

I'm sure that they will keep you well entertained. ;-)

Nicw weather here so far.
Rabbit...
|
Grey, warm and humid here. The BYT is making brief appearances but I'm
expecting she's fighting a losing battle today, could even have Funder and
Frightening the way it feels out there.
Good morning one and all.

We've just had a very light rain shower. Seems to be approaching from the

hmmmmm just looked that way - nothing as yet, know who to blame if it
spoils the cricket
Did you see what they said about the weather forecast for tomorrow for
the cricket ? Yuk!

NW. :(
Pam the goose...

Ours is approaching from the north.
Black sky and funder which I can't hear but Meg can, she won't leave Ray's
feet. Trouble is he's emptying the caravan after the call-out and has to be
going in and out. I think part of it is she's frightened of the noise and
the other part is she doesn't want Ray to be got by that noise!
I was really expecting a downpour looking at the sky but I think Widnes must
have got the wet stuff cos we've had none.
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
|
We're back to bright warm sunshine for the last hour now. :)
Pam the goose...
|
We're going that way, too, FN.
We only had a very brief fall of wet stuff, very fine and looked as though
it was just the edge of what Widnes was getting.
We're going to the shops now it's cheered up!
Well, I'll go to our 'ouse. Ray's just looked through the back window and
told me it's raining out there again! The view to the front is sunny and
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

I went out to check on the geese
Pam the goose...

We're alright, honest, FN.
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

Silly !!!!!! Have you borrowed that hat from the Rabbit? Shje sometimes

No it's not. Had I been here earlier I'd have said *you missed them, they
went to the shops* :-)

wears a silly hat. :)
Rabbit...
|
Nothing wrong with silly hats :-P
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
|
Well none of them suit me :)
Perhaps they clash! :(
|
|
Pam the goose...
|
The more I hear about Rabbit the more I find we think the same way, likes
and dislikes are shared so I guess we probably wear the same hat often
without realising it:)
Rabbit...
|
I don't think we'd both fit into the same one so I'll order two purple hats.
On second thoughts I've got a friend who could knit us two for free :-)
|
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

Well you probably do now. LOL

You mean you don't knit, Sandra?
Rabbit...
|
I used to, a lot, fancy stuff too.
|
Well, that's the first time I've found something different between us:))
Rabbit...
|
Not really, see next sentence :-)
|
Rabbit...
|
Ah with me it was a whiplash injury which meant I couldn't jbex with my neck
bent as in looking at what I was knitting.
Pam the goose...
|
Oh, how painful!
Well, there you go, more likenesses.
We both used to knit but for medical reasons can neither knit now.
This is getting interesting. There's *got* to be ways we are different!!

haze over the sea and it quite spoiled some of the piccies I took on a
surprise outing. You couldn't see Arran at all and where I was you can
usually feel that you could almost touch Ailsa Craig but that was missing
too.In fact I spoke to a foreign visitor ( well a Suverner:-)) and he didn't
even know he should have been able to see Arran or Ailsa Craig. I knew they
didn't teach geography beyond the Watford Gap down there in school ;-)
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

I sincerely hope you mean *beyond* in a southerly direction!! :)
Rabbit...
|
I meant that they don't teach there is any geography north of the Watford
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

I thought you meant they didn't teach geography to those south of the
Watford Gap. :)
Rabbit...

< me hits head against brick wall> I meant that south of the Watford Gap
Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

I hope you enjoyed that, and getting the brick wall repaired won't be too
expensive. . LOL

they don't even know there is another part of UK let alone any geography to

Good day to all.
Russ, I hope that the job of sorting out your mum's house
will go well for you. That's something we all have to deal
with eventually. My sisters and I have done it for our folks
and it wasn't easy. I worry about the time when my own
children have to sort my stuff out. I have too much stuff.
Anyway, eat well and get a lot of rest, if you can, so that
you'll be able to deal with it all. When you're tired, everything
looks worse and seems harder.
|
donut...
|
I know from experience that is *not* a pleasant job and I feel sorry for you
but it has to be done. Someone will have to do the same for us all one
day.
The weather is dull here and we have to go to the docs. to have our ears
syringed.
Have a good day everyone.

Hello Russell, hello all,
Well those of you that are watching the test match will knows that the
weather here is glorious. It is certainly warm out there too - and even
warmer in here.
Have taken collection of 2 luxurious armchairs complete with a motor and
full massage and heat too. Wow they are great, better than anything we
have ever sat in before.
It was originally decided that I should have a new chair because I have
to keep my feet raised as much as possible - I have problems with an
ankle :(
When we decided which one to go for, I made an appointment for them to
bring one to the house and the day before the appointment we saw they
were advertising a BOGOF.
So, we both got a new one - best decision we have ever made getting
these. Trouble is I prefer to sit in it all the time, and I have a lot
to do on my pc too, besides in the house too;)
Hope all are having a good day
