Italy would have lost if not for the ref. He also said that
in his opinion there isn't a decent ref alive today. :) I don't
care. I was surprised & happy with the tie. The USA
won't win the blasted cup or even get close but hooray
for soccer in America. This match gave it a nice boost.

Mine too John. I missed the first 5 minutes of the second half so didn't
see the two USA players being sent off. After that I thought their number
was up. How wrong I was. To be fair they fully deserved to win it.
