Good morning Barb, we have thick snow, not seen so much for a very long
time.
It looks like winter wonderland.

Sounds nice if you don't have to go out. It has just started snowing
here, quite big flakes but doesn't appear to be settling yet

been out yet. As my son in law was travelling back to Peterborough last
night he ran into a blizzard at one point. Not for very long but
sufficient to slow all traffic for a while. Strangely our daughter (his
wife) who travelled to London first to deposit their eldest son and girl
friend, had no such problems
Glad to hear that you have finished the bionics Mike and hope that you
continue to improve. I still have the occasional coughing fit but it
gets better all the time
Hope everybody is feeling fine after the festivities

We have another mini Christmas today when son (who has spent the night
with his fiancée and parents) returns home with said fiancée to spend
the day with us before setting off to spend New Year with friends

the meat back in and open my pressies. :-)

Very cold here - they reckon -4°C (24.8°F)overnight. Even got a covering of
snow too - only about 6mm (¼ inch) thoug.
Gizmo's still abed and since locking himself in the bathroom around 05-00
this morning I've not heard a peep, miaouw or purr from him. Now how or
why does a cat lock himself in a bathroom in the *wee* small hours of the
morning I hear you asking? I'm curious too, but he's saying nowt.
Suffice it to say there were some wet paw prints on the loo bowl. My mind
is boggling as well. :)

I see the Met Office has flash warnings of snow for the east of the country
but it stops at the border. I didn't know they had built the wall *that*
high :-) It's bright enough here and still but a damp chill in the air,
patches of blue and grey up above.

Good morning Mike, we have thick snow here and it looks like there is a lot
more to come, looks like some of the Christmas cards. Delboy has gone out
and is just sitting looking !!! he hasn't attempted to walk on it yet.

Hope you are all well. Last day of antibiotics and steroids for me today -
still coughing a bit but I think I'll let nature take its course and see
how it goes for a while.

Hope you shake the bugs Mike.
Have you tried Echinacea as a natural antibiotic??
It does help to clear up annoying bugs in this house.
You may have to ask your doc if you are on a few meds though.It was our doc
that suggested it to us.

Not much planned for today apart from visiting the grandma of the twins
this evening. Looking forward to that.

Well we were going to have a lazy day but our friend Big Al rang and has
invited us over to meet his Sister who is visiting from Brisbane.
I was trying to have an alcohol free day as well - no chance at Big
Al's!!!!!

I am back home now from spending Christmas with my daughter and family in
Devon and what a super Christmas it was too - hectic and noisy but enjoyed
every minute of it :)

NO SNOW here BTW ??
