It's like buses,you never see one for years and along comes two just behind
each other. It's not actually here yet, the sky to the south is black but
above me and to the north it's still bright but I can hear the rumbling

Been a lovely clear sky all day here. Still is - no sign of any bad weather
so far. :)

The radar images show that storm well, but it was really small and about
the only rain in all of Scotland. It should have cleared very quickly:-)

The rain never made it to here, the black sky stayed to the south of me and
the Funder never really got here either, it was always in the distance.

I had a lovely return drive to the airport this evening in warm sunshine.

No, it was just a transport trip to take "someone":-) to Aldergrove for a
flight over to Glasgow where she has a two day course. Do flights actually

Up until this year it was the fastest growing airport ( in passenger
numbers) in Europe. However the flights to Ireland are only Dublin, Donegal
and Shannon. BTW I've just got that info from Prestwick airport web site and
it's the first time I've known that Donegal had an airport. The last time I
was in Donegal they'd only just discovered cars :-)
