Good morning from a decidedly wet Cornwall. It started raining here at
about 8 p.m. last night and I don't think it has stopped since.

Walter and the BYT here, it's a scorcher out there. There's something wrong
with my car, took it to my friendly garage man, he tells me that because the
engine management light is on I have to go to the Renault dealer. Off I go,
very unwillingly having been ripped off there once before by rude staff at
the main dealer. Things haven't changed, no wonder people don't ( according
to an article in the press recently) like main dealers. To call this one
patronising, rude and unhelpful is to flatter them :-( A man in a white
shirt tells me they can't hook it up to a computer for x days, they don't
have the staff, ehh, he could try getting his hands dirty if they are short
of staff. The reason I like my local garage man is because I get to deal
with the guy who not only owns the business but gets his hands dirty and he
doesn't need to spend a fortune on advertising, word of mouth from happy
customers is enough.Can you tell I'm angry ? Oh I wish I didn't have to use
the main dealer at all but they are making things so computer dependent now
we sometimes have no choice. Just as well it's a lovely day out there or I
might be even more angry :-)

Good morning
Well the weather forecast here said heavy rain throughout the county but
so far we have blue skies. Maybe they moved us into a different county
and forgot to tell me!

Good morning Mike, nice sunny morning here I hope your weather soon
improves.
Off out to Eastbourne later, they have the Airshow on this week-end so a
place to avoid if you don't want the noise and the crowds. Very interesting
if you want to see the Airshow but I think once is quite enough, much too
noisy when the big jets come over and rattle all the windows all around.
I see it starts tomorrow, it must be getting longer !!
